Over the past two months we have all become very familiar with this pandemic, the tremendous emotional and financial strain it has placed upon each and every single one of us, and the initial uncertainty that has spread as a result, leaving no question of the need to work together as a single dental community to find the multiple solutions needed to overcome the adversity in front of us.
Within VOCO—and no doubt within companies and organizations across the world—the impulse to help, even in some small ways, looms large. We understand that aside from the health concerns related to Covid-19, a major concern for you in the current environment is financial in nature and we sympathize.
For the dental professionals we serve, we continue to be there to help. Our phone lines are open, our reps will take care of your needs and we are equipped to do virtual meetings with you and your teams whenever you need us. We have sponsored multiple CE based COVID-19 infection control webinars. These webinars and more than 120 others can be found on our dedicated free CE website at www.vocolearning.com. And of course, as the needs arise our manufacturing facilities have stayed online and are ready to support your material needs.
For ourselves, turning inward, we have been dedicating this time to taking care of our own VOCO family. We have not laid off or furloughed any employee, so that you can continue to work with your personal rep that you know and trust. Rather, we have opted to undertake a rigorous training schedule so that when we all emerge from this crisis—we are more equipped to contribute to the greater dental community. This has enabled our team to continue to take care of their families and local communities, and even contribute directly in supporting those on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.
We have consulted with clinicians and industry partners across North America to strategically plan a course through the uncertain terrain in front of us as states and our industry reopen to begin a new normal. As we move forward our industry needs to stand united, practitioners, staff, distributors, manufacturers, associations, etc. We are confident that we will get through this, and we will do it together, standing apart so we can stand united!
